Grand Turk is the largest island in the Turks island group and also contains the Turks and Caicos Islands capital of Cockburn Town. It is a quiet and sleepy island with some great beaches and outstanding diving and fishing sites.

In my opinion the best beach in the world!!!!Just 8 miles across Grand Turk is a small but most enchanting island.Enjoy the beach as there is nothing much to do but lay on the beach and enjoy the sun!!!Friendly people

There is a ranch on the far side of the island by the lighthouse that offers a great horseback ride and swim. You get to take the horses into the ocean while you ride them. It's great.

When traveling to Grand Turk, I'd advise you to get a good car.  We went to several places where the dirt roads were difficult to drive on...even with a four-wheel drive!
