Kiev is a beautiful city and 'the' place to please your eyes and heart!It is one of the greenest cities on earth!The city is the most(+) in spring-summer (lets say april-june), other times of the year are not worse ofcourse, it's just that in this period everything starts blooming!- The trees (chestnut trees, acacia trees, fruit trees), flowers (tulips, lilacs and lots of other flowers), etc.There is beautiful "Botanic Garden".. especialy around May everything is in their 100%.You can go on the river "Dniepr" by taking a steamboat where you can sit, drink/eat something, relax enjoy the great view....or just hire a small boat with your friend and use your own arm-power to move and swimm around water lillies :) .The Centre of the city "Chrechiatik", has a large shopping centre undergound - just under the "Maydan Nezalezhnosti"( Independence Squar). Nice wild nature but be careful with the locals

Bueno, empecemos por partes: las mujeres estàn minusvaloradas porque la sociedad es muy machista, asi que es preferible que no viajen solas. y ni hablar de gays y lesbianas. El alojamiento es muy caro porque no hay hostales ya que apenas hay turismo, solo de empresa, de noche es conveniente no salir a la calle para no morir en el intento y para comer hay millones de lugares con comida tipica muy buena y barata.

Odessa is a beautiful city. walking around in town is great and the opera house is amazing. be careful about the big parks, it's very easy to get lost in there!!!

GREAT CITY!!!! Expensive, but really good place to spend time. Accomodation expensive. It is possible to eat good for good money (even in center u have Pizata Hata or Crimean restaurant). Interesting momuments (Lavra) and good travel base (f.e. to Chernobil). But the atmosphere of Majdan sq. and Kyyiv's nightlife is really priceless!!!

Visit the opera house. Although L'viv is a small town, the opera house is grand. We saw Aida with friends while visiting. While the opera itself was 2nd string, the opera house itself is first rate. The first time we visited, the hotels were still not very good. We stayed with some friends of friends of friends. This was a step beyond hosteling. The second time we stayed at the Grand Hotel in the center of town. The Grand was nice enough to bring almost any tourist, even my wife.

Maidan Nezalejnosti - (the Place of Independance) is one of my favourite places in Kyyiv. Nice in the daytime it turns to be the center of the nightlife. No questions, it's worth visiting!

Really beutiful city... Architecture , the spirit of past ages and people. Such a shame that these great buildings are not well preserved ad restored... And... this city was Polish not long ago...

Radzivils Castle is very beautiful
