Travel Tips from people who've been to Bournemouth
The NEW Metro Court Hotel which has changed names several times is still as good and even better than it used to be. Down the road from many bars and nightclubs also restaurants and the great shopping centre DINGLES that seems to have everything under one roof. As well as being a 5 minute walk from a great beach that has loads of things for kids to do.
From day to night there is always something to do. Good tip? (0) Try the restaurants on Charminster Road. It's much more easygoing area than the City, but there are loads of different restaurants and pubs: Chinese, Turkish, Scandinavian (!), Spanish (!!) etc. Try Bed&Breakfast places, they're cheap and people are often friendly and lovely. And you get to know the traditional English breakfast! Good tip? (0) Bournemouth is really a good place to hang out especially in the summer period. Don't imagine anything special but there is a lot of young people and you' ll enjoy it...There are a lot of girls if you are interested as well, and finally the Bournemouth pier to have a nice time in a summer sunny day.
