Durham Travel Guide

Durham is still my favorite place to visit in all of the UK. It is so peaceful, the cathedral is beautiful, and the food, people, and visual beauty of the place are outstanding. It is so easy to get to by bus or train in England. Check out the university campus next to the cathedral and castle, walk a little ways up the river pathway and you can get some amazing pictures. Such a wonderful place to feel at peace with everything.

If you like oldy-worldy, you'll love Durham.  Famous for its Cathedral situated on the River Wear. Durham Cathedral has been voted Britain's favourite building in a survey of the best and worst of British architecture.  If I were you I'd take a trip to Durham, it's a place that will lure you back time and time again!
