Travel Tips from people who've been to Exeter
By far the best bar in Exeter for food or drink is The Old Firehouse on New North Road near centeral station.
Here you are able to get a good quality bottle of house wine for only £5. As for the food the menu although not expansive does encapuslate many wholesome English foods with generous potions and at a reasonable price.
Note to all after 10 they serve huge square pizzas perfect for sharing or pigging out on for under a tenner.

Exeter lies at the top end of the Exe estuary.  It is the hub of travel to other areas of Devon.  You can base yourself in Exeter and take day trips to other areas of the region.  Check out the port for some good restaurants.  The High Street is great for a spot of shopping too.

Taka a leaflet from the bus station about the cathedral. It contains 3 vouchers: one for 2 for 1 entrance tickets for adults, one for a 50% for a guide book (2 instead of 4 pounds) and one for 2 for 1 hot drinks in cathedral cafe.
