Travel Tips from people who've been to Isle of Wight
The Isle of Wight is a very nice island in the south of england. You can reach it from london by train to portsmouth harbour and then by the cat. It´s also possible to take the hoovercraft from portsmouth. The biggest city of the island is Ryde, but the capitol is Newport. Swimming is best in Shanklin, which you can reach by the train (there are old railway carriages of the London Underground). The landscape is also really beautiful, and the best way to explore it is the bus. There are Dubble Decker Busses on Lines 2, 3 and 4. The best restaurants are in Union Street.
