Catch your flight here, what else... not much to do otherwise... if you need to get to another airport from here (Stanstead, Heathrow, etc) coach or cab are the options, to Good tip? (0) Luton is mainly known for its international airport. I believe, though, that the town itself is worth a 1-2-day visit. I think that the best season for that - you may be surprised - is February as it is the driest month of the year. Apart from the various monuments and museums, the very hub of the town is The Mall Arndale where you can comfortably spend a whole day shopping on its many stores and dine at the Chinese or Jamaican restaurant. When you get bored, just take the high-speed train and in 15 minutes you'll be in London city centre. Good tip? (0) Cheaper way to get to London from Lisbon - cheapest fares from Easyjet since they're based in Luton, then you have a free bus each 10 minutes that takes you to the train station, and then by train, in half an hour you're at Victoria Station/King's Cross!
