Travel Tips from people who've been to Aberdeen
On the coast outside of Aberdeen you find the most wonderful cliffs of Scotland, up north you have the Bullars of Buchnan a wonderful site especially with stormy weather.
In the south you can go hike for a few miles along the coast line on top of some very high, fully grown with grass and beautiful flowers in the summer, cliffs where thousands of seagulls and seabirds are nestling. Go hiking early in the morning to observe the puffins on the rocky cliffs
Breath in the fresh air and just savor the moment!

Nightlife is quite good in Aberdeen with most of the serious partying happening on Belmont street. Wednesday night is student night and most of the pubs slash the price of the booze. There r 2 brilliant comedy nights every week: Tuesday night in Snafu on Union Street, and Thursday night in Cellar 35, downstairs from The Noose and Monkey, by the public library.

this harbour on Hong Kong Island used to give a nice view of people living on their boats. now all you see is the jumbo floating dim sum restaurant (wich seems to be very good, but I haven't been there). the tour on sampan in the harbour was dissapointing. just some fishing-boats, some luxurious yachts, but not at all what is described in the travel-guides
