Travel Tips from people who've been to Aviemore
Jumping off to the Cairngorms for those that enjoy a good hike, or skiing/snowboarding uphill. Close to speyside for the whisky trail and Inverness for those that need to pick something up. Tesco's and many conveniences in town with a variety of accomadation, drinking and eating establishments for all budgets. Check out the Mussels at the Cairngorm hotel huge and delic. Want to go for a good old fashioned polar bear dip. Feshy Bridge down the road has lovely swimming providing it is 32 celcius out. In winter bring a range of clothing as it could be 15 or it could be -15 and snowing. Good tip? (0) Ausgangsort für Bergtouren im Nationalpark. Leider hats viele Touristen, aber hier kann man sich gut ausrüsten. N.B. über Ostern gibt immer ne mead-season-sale, Berghaus - Salewa etc. Material extrem günstig.. hehe. Good tip?
