Travel Tips for Dos and Don’ts in Scotland

Portobello, Scotland, United Kingdom
Portobello belongs to Edimburgh area, it has a nice beach walk, very beautifull, is small with small atractions for children, fantastic just to walk and maybe seat on the banks or the rocks to watch the shores. Scottish stile.

Isle of Arran, Scotland, United Kingdom
if your taking your car over........book early, arrive at Ardrossan early and remember that the locals are not on holiday so if a queue builds up behind you.....pull over and let them pass! :-)

Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom
I spend my time trying to get away from this place but as a visitor there is the usual pubs, clubs and local interests. Few big parks and since it's on the coast - a beach. Not the cleanest of places. Trying to swim near the North Sea isn't a good idea either.

Kilkerran, Scotland, United Kingdom
Also in the back of beyond. One of the most beautifull local areas to take the dogs on various walks and trecks. Just breath taking views and surroundings.

Oban, Scotland, United Kingdom
The trip to the isle Kerrera is worth a day. Its a small island with a cool tea shop about half-way around if you circumnavigate the island. The local bus in theory stops near the boat point which is a bit out of town.
