Here's what you do in Portrush: get up and pack a picnic lunch, walk out and throw a blankie down on the East Strand beach (late at night near the light house is gorgeous) - start walking east, you'll soon run out of beach but keep to the rocks and don't be afraid! after a few miles you'll see the famous rock formation that looks like a dude's face staring out to sea... soon after, the lovely stone arch... and then the jackpot, Dunluce Castle, one of the most beautiful and architecturally interesting castles in the entire world. You don't need to pay to get in, just circumnavigate the place and find a crack in the ruins ;) If you want to keep up the hike, about ten miles later you'll come to the Giant's Causeway, weird!!

Beware that the Lochness Museum is totally cheesy, in a way that is good if you aren't on a budget. This town is charming and remote with a hauntingly beautiful castle -- but not a lot for entertainment or nightlife. Good for romantic getaways; not good for excitement.

Portobello belongs to Edimburgh area, it has a nice beach walk, very beautifull, is small with small atractions for children, fantastic just to walk and maybe seat on the banks or the rocks to watch the shores. Scottish stile.

Visit "The Boat" (aka The Tuxedo Princess) nightclub for a "different" night out. The club is on a boat and has a revolving dance floor!

Wholefoods Knightsbridge - that's all I have to say

Eldon Square in the centre is great for shopping. Go to department store Fenwicks for some great retail therapy and a nice bite to eat.

Do not stay in the Britania Hotel...trust me!!

Nobu is an excellent restaurant!
