The best way to explore Great Orme is to take a tram to the top of the rock and then walk east, clockwise around the penninsula until you pass the lighthouse and then turn into a gravel road leading back to the south. To close the circle you can then either come back down with the tram or walk along its route.The western side of the rock offers spectacular panorama of Snowdonia and Conwy bay.

great place in the summer, good to go if you dont want a mad weekend on the booze! i used to go there a lot when i was a kid so would say its a great place for a family to go

Wonderful area, loved that pier into the sea. The town itself is not that big, but the athmosphere is wonderful.
