Travel Tips from people who've been to La Jolla
La Jolla is a nice town to visit; shop, food, beach combing, visit museums, etc. There are many private and public beaches. Private beaches are nice because there are less people. La Jolla has many nice restaurants and coffee shops. Shopping is similiar to Rodeo Drive but not as big. La Jolla is a one of the older rich communities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Jolla,_California http://www.lajollabythesea.com/ http://www.lajolla.com/Templates/tmpHome.aspx?page=Home&type=page http://gothere.com/LaJolla/ http://aquarium.ucsd.edu/
This is one place on the west coast that I want to go back to. I've been to La Jolla twice on business and, unfortunately, didn't spend a whole lot of time in the area, but it was easy for me to see that this is one of the most beautiful small towns on the west coast.
La Jolla or "The pretty city" as i refer to it is one of the nicest cities I've ever been too and if i had a few million dollars i'd have a house there too.
Go to the cove around Feb/March and say hi to all the baby sea lions.
