  01556Cool town across from San Fran. Go to the bar,I can't remember the name, but it's in Jack London square.This is the where he wrote some of "White Fang". The bar actually sunk during the earthquake.in 1906.The wooden bar is bent downward,but didn't brake.It's really interesting.Watch for some of the bad areas.You can get lost quick there.The subway train will take you right into San Fran. Good tip? (0)  002When in Oakland (or anywhere near there), you must stop by Sacred Tattoos in downtown Oakland to get inked by Oey. There's no other artist out there like him. I get stopped nearly every time I go out in public with my tattoos in sight (both arms are done by Oey). Bring $ and call ahead for an appointment - he's big time! Good tip? (0)  0028Flying to the Bay area? Oakland is often a better choice than SFO. Both airports have service from BART into the city but Oakland is much less congested and has fewer weather delays!
