Travel Tips from people who've been to Old Town San Diego
Old Town San Diego has the most amazing History. There is an old candy shop, a soap shop, lots of markets, a Haunted House, with actors from the old days. An olds grave yard. A bed & breakfast house dating back from 1800's. But the best palce is the old Spanish Building which is now a resturant, with great food & entertainment.
This town feels like I am in Mexico without having to cross the border. I wish I had more time to spend here. Be sure to stop by Cafe Coyote for their amazing Mexican Pizza and delicious margaritas!
You can take the Trolley from San Ysidro Bordeline and get to downtown. Horton Plaza is a few blocks from the trolley stop.
