If you are a Nascar race fan and plan to be one of the many thousands who descend on the track bi-annually, I would highly recommend utilizing the parking shuttle.  It takes some time to get on a bus leaving the track, but you do avoid a lot of the traffic.

While in Dover, Delaware during the winter, be sure to bring a jacket because it is a very cold place, although there are a few beaches.

By all means, check out Dover Castle.  It is the single most impressive castle that I have seen (and I have seen many).
