Pearl City Travel Guide

I had a girlfriend many moons ago whose family lived down the street from the Aloha Bowl. The weather obviously fits my genetics. The people are very generous and considerate. Although the cost of living is high, it is well worth it; just because. I went to the racetrack to watch there version of roadracing. It was basically a quarter mile strip with some turns added to it. Nothing like Cali. or what I'm used to seeing/riding. However, they do their best to be involved in the sport. While there I also hung out with the locals; did not do any tourist stuff whatsoever. I got a taste of what it was like to be truly Hawaiian or Aloha. I had been there over a couple handful of times. I love the melting pot of portugeuse, japanese, filipino, korean, chinese, hawaiian, haole, and more; in the food, households, and people!!!!!!!!!!

for all you visiting o'ahu and looking for those keepsakes and souveniers, and more than likely your staying in the hustle and bustle of waikiki...check out the aloha staduim swap meet. every wed, sat, and sun. 6am-3pm. double check the times and days. they got great deals on lots of lil keepsakes from hawaii from key chains, tee shirts, and and local island tasty goodies. and for those of you not renting a car..no problem research the city bus, the bus system in honolulu is awesome and goes pretty much anywhere you wanna go even the staduim swap meet. aloha!!!
