Travel Tips from people who've been to Springfield
If you're into history and Abraham Lincoln, this is the place to go. There's a museum and library dedicated to Lincoln. Nearby, there's a "city" of log cabins (replicas) similar to when Lincoln was alive. All the workers are dressed in Linoln period clothing and there's demonstrations of tools and the way there were used then.
Lots of shopping and restaurants....a little bit of everything!
The most annoying part about Springfield is the one way streets. Even number streets run one way and odd numbers run the other way....very inconvenient. Good tip? (0) There's a cool little pizzeria here that makes some weird stuff; I had a small pie topped with alligator meat. Check it out. Totally weird. Good tip? (0) You will not find the Simpsons in this Springfield. Good tip? (0) Recent Updates for Springfield
