Slade, Kentucky, United States Slade, KY....For adventure seekers this place is for you. If you are into hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, and camping you will love Slade, KY. Its home to the Daniel Boone Natural Forest and The Red River Gorge. Both are full of rugged terrain made of sandstone cliffs and exposed limestone rock faces. There are several natural arches, bridges, and caves to venture through. Endless breath taking sites to view. The best time of year to go is late October early November during peak season of Fall when all the leaves are changing color absolutly gorgeous. Good tip? (0) Louisville, Kentucky, United States If you stay at any hotel in Louisville stay at the Marriott Downtow and request a high floor facing the river. The view from your room will be amazing! Good tip? (0) Mount Sterling, Kentucky, United States The only real thing to do in Mount Sterling is touring the Ruth Hunt Candy Factory. The Easy Walker park is pretty nice but not really much to do in this town. Good tip? (0) Lexington, Kentucky, United States get a car. Taxi drivers are not the most reliable. Good tip? (0) Hillsboro, Kentucky, United States Hillsboro is a one stoplight town. You blink and you miss it. Not much to see here other than the gas station, cemetary and the old elementary school. Good tip?
