Travel Tips from people who've been to Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge is the capitol city of Louisiana. You defenetly go to the capitol building, go to the top to get a great view over Baton Rouge, the Mississippi-River and even the Campus. Go to the Campus and drive around the Campus-Lake, got some real nice houses over there. The LSU-Stadium is great, check out the inside. Take a look at Mike-The Tiger.

We went when Hurricane Katrina destroyed the city.  We were part of the clean-up effort.  Our experience was not as good as the "old" experience with the live bands and good times.  Although the city was not the same the food was.  Well the cafes or resturants that was able to be open.
