Travel Tips from people who've been to Frederick
Downtown Frederick is a great place to check out. If you want to be there when there is a lot going on, make sure to go during the Gallery Walks, on the first Saturday of every month. Carroll Creek is a great place to walk the water, with tasty places to eat nearby. Market Street is the main street, with lots of shops and restaurants to try. There are also many bars on this street. During the Gallery Walks, you'll get to really interact with the local people and the shop owners. Look out for Doggy Days during the summer!

Check out Dublin Roaster's on North Market Street. It is next to the turn for Schifferstadt Boulevard. Try the unlimited coffee for only two dollars, or the delicious chai. They serve you your drink with a hershey kiss. The atmosphere is relaxing and there are lots of places to sit, talk, relax, surf the web, etc.

My former sister in law lives here, and she is one hell of a cook! Not a bad drive from Baltimore, stop there and see the aquarium!
