Minneapolis Travel Guide

Minneapolis is really cold during the winter!  Be sure to wear warm socks, ice-worthy shoes, a down-filled coat, a warm hat, toasty gloves, no lipstick, and don't open your mouth while you're outside or your tongue will freeze!!  Oh yeah, wear some heavy duty chapstick.  Don't wear lipstick or your scarf will stick to your lips!  The people there are great, though, and the food is awesome if you know some amish friends.  The houses are beautiful, especially when people have their Christmas lights up.

Minneapolis is a people friendly city. I am partial to the Corporate Headquarter Target Building because my brother works there =]  The City is pretty lit up at night!  If you have more than one person in your car you can use the carpool lane which takes you straight downtown near parking garages.
Clean city trafficked more by pedestrians than automobiles.

Minneapolis has been on the Top-Ten Cities to Raise a child in List for some time now. When visiting, look into family and child attractions such as the Como Zoo,  Mall of America, and other shopping centers which offer free daycare and activities for children while their' parents are doing their' shopping and having grown-up time.
