Travel Tips from people who've been to Kalispell
Kallispell, set in America's great Northwest, is a mecca for fishing, hiking and general nature loving. Go during the summer months as the mountain air great colder than you might think. To the North lies Whitefish where if you are so inclined you can snow ski if you dare brave the winter weather. Personally I prefer to trout fish in August in the half light beneath the mountains. This is what you think of when you read a Norman McLean novel.
A friendly city! The Knead is amazing (if its still there!!!) and I've heard The Painted Horse is a good bar. Its also fun to go to the little store called Sykes, its an old hangout for the locals and its pretty cool when all the old folk gather there.
This town is right in the bottom of the valley at the base of the mountains that head up into Whitefish.
