I would suggest going to the Ponderosa ranch and buy a cowboy hat and view everything there because its the location of the filmed show Bonanza. P.S I would buy a hat it helps in the heat

Carson city is a beautiful place also. There they have paraides and all kinds of interesting things there. You can also go to the museam were you can see some of the citys history.
