Travel Tips from people who've been to Taos
The Mabel Dodge Luhan House Historic Inn is a wonderful place to stay when in Taos. The Inn is located very conveniently, has comfortable surroundings and adobe charm. Georgia O’Keeffe, D.H. Lawrence, Ansel Adams, Martha Graham and Carl Jung stayed here. Good tip? (0) The Dragonfly cafe in the north part of town is a fantastic breakfast spot. Have the fennel pancakes, or the restaurant's eponymous omelette for a wonderful, filling meal. Feeling adventurous? Try the biminbop. I've had them all, it's all good. Good tip? (0) Plenty to see here if you're into nature and/or shopping especially for native american themed items. Go up to the mountains for some great sightseeing, take a whitewater raft trip down the Rio Grande. Take a trip downtown to shop for just about anything. Good tip? (0)
