Brooklyn, what do you say? It's Brooklyn. Baseball, Italians, immigration, hipsters, and so on have all become synonymous with this NYC borough. The trendy place to live right now is Williamsburg right off the L train into Manhattan. For me, I still prefer Queens to Brooklyn, but those from there are proud to call it home. In the south of the borough is Coney Island, a name that markets itself, and Brighton Beach, where a large Russian population lives. There is also the Aquarium; there's a 3D adventure ride at the aquarium that is not worth taking. They do a sea otter show that is cool for some laughs. One should be cautious though about some neighborhoods in Brooklyn as they are dangerous, so check around first, and make sure you are being wise in your travels. The metro is generally a safe bet during the day and evening hours; late night can be risky, but where isn't it risky that late?
