Akron Travel Guide

Avoid Akron at all costs during the winter months. Way too cold and snowy for my taste!

If you travel by plane the Canton Akron airport has a computer near the baggage claim area. Its a small airport so its easy to navigate. The computer has a pull out keyboard and internet access is as easy as following the directions on screen. For now they don't charge you to use the computer and net access so if this is wrong by the time you read it I'm sorry. Right now that computer is  free so if you don't bring your laptop or don't have a laptop and need to check up on some stuff or kill time there it is.

Also if you are looking for the night life scene hang out in downtown Akron because otherwise the rest of the city is boring and dull. Don't fall for the "I need a dollar to see my grandma in the hospital" Gag unless someone is on bended knee and crying don't pull out your wallet. Akron is pretty boring unless you like Art Museums, the Akron Aeros, The Civic Theatre those types of things.

If you ever find yourself on Arlington road in Akron, Try out Lydias or the Roseto Club. These are good fun for the gay community.
