Cincinnati Travel Guide

I have lived off and on in Cincinnati and it has been my homebase for most of my life.  If you ever want to meet some of the friendliest people (depending on what area you're in), I recommend Cincinnati, The Nati, or Cincy as it's referred to.  Find yourself having a layover in the CVG Cincinnati International Airport?  Try Cincy's famous Cincinnati Chil...a taste like no other!  Topped on spaghetti, you would never believe how scrumptuous the taste of Cincinnati is.   And while you're in town you have to check out Jungle Jim's international Market - truly a sight to see with everything you could possibly imagine from all over the world.  From animatronics to Firetrucks in the middle of the store - it's almost as if Willy Wonka made a grocery store with all of the fun things and experiences that Jungle Jim's has to offer. 

Drive up Mt Adams and get a great view of the Ohio River, Cinncinati and on the other side of the River, Kentucky.  Mt Adams has several great restaurants and bars and you can find a restaurant to suite just about everyone.  It is too bad that La Maison closed in downtown Cincy, that was a great, intimate but very pricey restaurant.  Some of my best memories were in that restaurant.  There's always Morton's if you want a steak. Oh yeah - Cincy serves Chili on top of Spaghetti - - and call it Cincinnati Chili - so make sure you stop and get some cash from the atm at any of the  3rd 5th Banks and use it on Cincy Chili or make sure your credit card is CLEAR for Morton! ;0
