What can I say? Sandusky, Ohio is home to the greatest place on earth: Cedar Point. If you are a rollercoaster fanatic like me, you won't have to go anywhere else. Billed as 'America's Roller Coast', Cedar Point is home to 17 world class coasters, more than any other park on the planet. Almost every coaster there has held a world record at some point. Ever went 120 mph in 4 seconds, climbed a vertical track 420 feet into the sky, then fell back to earth vertically at 120 mph? That's Top Thrill Dragster. The most extreme coaster at the park.

Cedar Point is a must stop for roller coaster fans in Sandusky and it is well worth planning a two-day stay to fully explore all the cool rides in the park. Accommodation around the park can be a bit expensive so it may be worth shopping around. Some places offer free transportation to and from the park which saves the parking fee.

In Sandusky, there is a real huge Rollercoasterpark called Cedar Point. One rollercoaster is faster than the other! Forget about european parks! And one highlight more: You are at the coast of the lake Erie, it's like beeing at the sea..
