Providence Travel Guide

A typical restaurant that many people stop at in Providence is The Cheesecake Factory.  This restaurant is mid priced, family oriented, and has great food.  Later evening meals are more sophisticated and tend to have less children in attendance.  This place serves up a good meal and a great dessert for a littler more than a reasonable price.  You're on vacation, spoil yourself!!  I'd give it $$$ out of $$$$$ on the cost meter.

You'd never know it, but some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten, to include in Italy, was in Little Italy, Providence.  It's up on the hill and you can't throw an olive without hitting a great Italian restaurant.

Providence, RI has a huge shopping mall that is easily accessible in the city and also from the highway.  There is always parking and alternate transportation is also accessible from the shopping center.
