Stay out of the Days Inn, unless you like ladies of the evening plying their trade and other crimnal elements. The only thing missing from the room was a taped outline of the body that had just been removed.

The Grand Strand is my home away from home. I love Myrtle Beach. During the winter months; especially between Christmas and New Years, I like to get a beach front room where I can sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise. It is beautiful there. My favorite haunt is the Holiday Sands North. Very reasonable; a 2 bedroom runs for 30.00 a night—can’t beat that one! If you stay here, bring whatever comforts from home you need. They only supply dishes, pots, silverware, bedding, wash cloths, and towels.  

When visiting Folly Beach, make sure you take plenty of sunscreen if you plan to be there all day. If you have a husband or boyfriend a picknick on the beach would be lovely and romantic and possibly more affordable. Don't go into the water after you eat for at least 30 minutes to an hour to avoid leg cramps. Also it wouldn't be a bad idea to get one of those LARGE umbrella's to stick in the sand and a good sized beach towl to help keep a little cooler while on the beach. It would also be a good idea to wear somekind of shoes while in the water so you want risk getting stung by a jellyfish if you step on one. Also wearing lighter clothing won't draw the sun to you as much, so it's a good idea to stay away from wearing dark colors like the color black.   Make sure when picking a hotel/motel or a bed and breakfast, make sure you're in a part of town where you feel comfortable. Don't spend a little less and spend nights on the bad part of town. Spend a couple of more dollars and get the best deal in the good part of town. Don't forget to explore the town and admire those awesome palm trees.
