Not too many travelers make their way to Kingsport when visiting the United States. Those that do usually go to see the Hunter Wright Stadium. Otherwise travelers visiting the area generally stick to more well-known destinations such as Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. If you do travel to Kingsport, please take some time to tell us about what you saw in this Kingsport travel guide.
Travel Tips from people who've been to Kingsport
Kingsport has several activities like put-put, pool halls, movie theaters (drive in as well), golf and bowling. They have two malls (one is a strip mall) and several clubs and bars to attend at night. Hotels are fairly cheap ranging from 35-65 dollars a night. They do have taxi's but it isn't a popular form of transportation. I recommend a rental car. As far as food goes, Kingsport has all of the national restaurants plus some southern exclusive franchises like Pal's.

Kingsport. The one city that it doesn't matter where you go, you can't get lost... all the streets lead to all the other streets in one way or another. I love Kingsport, it's like a smaller version of Johnson City with less people and not so many places to go.

Check out the skateboard church. They have a great ministry and you can board inside if you want.
