031You MUST try The Salt Lick Barbecue in Driftwood, about 20 miles west of Austin. It is worth the drive and the inevitable wait. It is BYOB and there is outdoor seating and occasional live music. If the line is long I suggest getting your food to go and eating outside on the picnic tables, as this is what many of the locals do and you can meet great people while enjoying even better food.
