Los Angeles, California, United States
for aussis travellers heading to usa. first thing to remember is their scale of rating for hotels is very different to aus hotels.. a 4 star hotel their is about a 1 here. as in we stayed at a so called 4 star resort right near disneyland.. and were supposed to have a continental breakfast.. it ended up being 1 coffee and 1 iced donut that had to be colelcted from front office. they dont have bar fridges in most hotels and u have to get ice. some hotels are not very helpful. so get plenty of advice and choose wisely. for attractions dont miss Knotts Berry Farm its a great day out adn to be honest preferred it to over commercialised Disneyland. women do NOT travel alone. and dont flash your money around alot. i was told that if i need to get money out of my wallet to go into toilets and do it. but thats abit over the top. Check out some of the larger malls such as i think its called South Mall in Los Angelos. its huge and lots of good bargins. If u have a multi day pass to Disneyland try and do all the other sightseeing first and leave Disneyland to last.. that way if you want to go back and pick up things you can. WE had no coffee or tea even toast making facilities in room.. couldnt even keep milk in with us as nothing to store it in as no bar fridge.. so very ahrd to make simple things to eat.. eating out all the time is costly.. try not eat before or after going to theme parks as the food there is over the top in prices.. for something different try Medievil times it was a fantastic night of knights in shinging armour.. jousting and falconry.
New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
The food and jazz in New Orleans is fabulous. I got to be there for the Jazz festival and the food was awesome. You must go to Bourbon Street while you're there and take a walk or stop at a bar and have some drinks.
Twin Falls, Idaho, United States
you'll love the nightlife and the hott man.
Austin, Texas, United States
Two words....Hippy Hollow. Ended up there for their end of the season party (spash i think). Had a blast. Also loved the downtown area. Can walk from resteraunt to bar and bar and bar. All were fun.
Dallas, Texas, United States
Loved Dallas. Usually stayed at the Melrose or The Mansion, but the Melrose was my fav. It is right in the middle of the "gay" area, and you can walk to and from easily. Great food and fun within block. Other areas are great too, if you think you can navigate around. Downtown was coming alive again when I was there last.
Boca Grande, Florida, United States
Gasparilla Inn is a great place to do a spa day or just have a nice meal.
Crested Butte, Colorado, United States
I went to Crested Butte in the spring and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It's rugged there so ladies, no need to pile on the make-up or pack your heels. The "natives" are down-to earth and were friendly. Hotels and cabins are easy to come by but make sure you make reservations early. I did a lot of hiking and fishing (in their beautiful lakes).
Pahrump, Nevada, United States
prostitution is leagal be carfull lol someone might try and put you to work! but its really nothing much to it!
San Francisco, California, United States
For the gay travelers amongs us, do not think of San Francisco as an gayscene heaven. While the city is fantastic. the gay scene hasn't evolved very much since the late eighties. Youngsters under 30 should adjust their expectations. San Fran is no New York... The gays are older and still stuck in a Freddy Mercury mode.Great shopping , culture and sightseeing though.
Las Vegas, Nevada, United States
Dress very smart when going out....it could avoid you a cover charge...especially if you're female.
