New York, New York, United States
The 2-day pass includes open top tour bus Circle Line, entry into loads of sights for $125 is worth it. Go to Ellis Island if you have ever had family go through it - very sad but interesting
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
easy to navigate... if you can count you can find your way around. just remember mountains are east and you are set!
Cleveland, Ohio, United States
Cleveland Rocks, Clevelands what its made of. Not a bad city, the downtown was a bit of a ghost town in some places, the waterfront area near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is quite nice. Over buy Jacobs Field there are a few good Sports Bars and restaurants. Do not take advice on the train when to get off as we were given bad advice and had to walk thru one of the worst neighbourhoods I have ever seen. All in all had a great time there watching the 25th Anniversay Grand Prix of Cleveland.
Orlando, Florida, United States
The roads tend to be a bit rocky, so be sure to brace yourself
Moline, Illinois, United States
Remember: There is no repetitive driving along 23rd Avenue (Avenue of the Cities).
Boston, Massachusetts, United States
the best way is taking the T as we called it,the train system is very easy to use,and if you still have problems findind a place the locals are very glad to help.
New York, New York, United States
It isn't terribly hard to find your way around, but make sure to move quick...think fast... and always have some way of finding directions handy, just in case.
New York, New York, United States
Skip the ride in the horse-drawn carriage, or at least do some research on it. I learned that many drivers and stable owners are guilty of animal rights violations, and that the practice is considered cruel by PETA and others. Also, for the money you spend, the ride is usually short (less than ten minutes for $60, and he expected a tip on top of that). The drivers lack the old-world class that would have made the experience special a century ago.
Maui, Hawaii, United States
If you are ever in Maui you MUST drive the road to Hana. It is a beautiful scenic drive along the outside of a mountain. Much of the drive travels along the side and offers great opportunities for travel photos. Make sure to stop along one of the fruit stands along the way and purchase the audio travel cd for the drive. It gives you information about the things you are seeing and the island as you drive across it.
Miami, Florida, United States
Rent a car! Attractions in Miami are far away from each other, and the metro isn't all that practical. Besides, with the hectic weather you'll be drenched half the time (at least in spring, summer).
