Loved this place!  It was like being in the Swiss alps during winter. We stayed at a motor inn (forgot the name) because we didn't make reservations and that was all that was available. Great breakfast and loved the entertainment of the Bavarian horn playing. We rented cross country skiis and a horse drawn sleigh from near by. Make arrangements ahead of time and prepare for bad roads in the winter but its worth it!

Leavenworth, WA is a small German village tucked away in the Wenatchee National Forrest. It is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon or a weekend away from your busy life :-)

Echo Cellars' is the best winery in Leavenworth.  Its towards the end of Front Street in the back corner of town.
