Fremont, Washington, United States
Keep an eye out for the generational graff work that lists this student's city's history. Also, don't miss the Bridge troll - not that you can! For the best picture of Seattle to send home go to the Gas Works in Fremont and sit upon the hill - the Seattle skyline is amazing.

Tukwila, Washington, United States
Tukwila, WA is mainly a suburb of Seattle that has not had all that great of an economic history. Tukwila has, unfortunately, a record of poverty. Its location south of Seattle means that it is in Seattle's more industrial-type areas. Nevertheless, Tukwila has put in programs to try to shake its image and such assets as the Sounder Transit system have helped to stimulate the region.

Seattle, Washington, United States
In Seattle, looking for somewhere economical to stay can sometimes be tricky, we were lucky to be sent by the Moore Hotel to the Panama Hotel off Main street and second avenue. Although the bathrooms and toilets are shared, everything was perfectly clean. This hotel is cosy, packed with history, the bed are springy, the linen is hand-made, and in the ladies toilet ... there is a bath!
