Eat at Traylors or The Plunk'n Shack for a good meal that isn't outragious. Take a ride into the Olympic National Park. Get your feet wet out on Ediz Hook in the spit. Go dance at Castaways live local music. Red Lion waterview rooms are comfortable, clean but pricey. Drive around the community and check out the nice yards and gardens. Dream Park is a stop for the young, a playground and skateboard park.
Do not visit Port Angeles during the spring, winter, or fall. Summer is the most beautiful season here. Lake Crescent (west of P.A.) is an 18 mile long glacier lake that is the color of tropical water in some areas. There are plenty of place to hike - even for days at a time. It is the pretty side of Washington state. Stay clear of downtown where there are many crack-heads that sleep under bridges.
Where all the magic happened... Yes everyone, this is my hometown, well my birthplace. A beautiful town and close by is the music movement city of Seattle. Some of the best seafood I have ever had can be found in almost any local reastraunt on the bay and the markets are amazing. Also a must do while in town is a local vist to Mt. Ranier.
