Travel Tips from people who've been to Madison
The city is just awesome. It's looking like no other place in USA, so European, that you almost forget it's America. Not big but really well situated - between 3 lakes and the Union terrace is just the place you can't miss. All nice girls are there looking for beach and yachting, sport activities or fun. There are a lot of students in Madison and maybe that's why it's so charming and lively... For the fans of the exotic food - there is a Nepali restaurant - WTF?! (It's exactly on the State Mall street) Good tip? (0) HI-Madison is a great little hostel right downtown. Super cozy, with really friendly staff. There's always great smells coming from the Carribean restaurant downstairs that I'm looking forward to trying on my next trip up there. Good tip? (0) When Interacting with Locals, be yourself, drop the pretensions, and be open! Madisonians are a friendly lot, as are Wisconsinites in general. You're in the Midwest. Chill, bruh. Good tip? (0)
