Travel Tips from people who've been to Cu Chi
Check out Cu Chi Tunnels - amazing underground construction and testament to how amazing the Vietnaese people are to have survived underground for nearly 25 years. Brings you closer to understanding what the war would have been like. The guided tours are great, view the traps, the eating areas, go underground through the tunnels, you can fire rifles/guns at the end. Amazing!

There is a lacquer store on the way to the Cu Chi tunnels.  All the crafts are made from young adults and teenagers born deformed from agent orange birth defects...buying crafts here is a wonderful way to support this amazing organization teaching skills to people who would have a hard time in society otherwise.
