There’s not much on this island, or more technically this atoll comprised of three islands (Wake, Wilkes, and Peale) surrounding a central lagoon. It’s small, it’s isolated, it’s got no fresh water, and it’s not permanently inhabited. It did manage to be a staging ground in World War II, where it was invaded by the Japanese before the US regained control. If you manage to travel to this island, kudos, as it’s currently not really open to visitors. It’s a beautiful example of tropical paradise though.
