01016We found carrying a crate of coke in the back of the car always helped with the police road blocks. If we started to get hassle, we'd make a comment that the police man look thirsty and then gave him a coke. Worked everytime and speeded up our trip!

0301kariba lake: με ποταμόπλοιο διασχίζετε την λίμνη Kariba για να φτάσετε κοντά στους καταρράκτες Victoria. Η διαδρομή με το ποταμόπλοιο, παρ' όλο που δεν υπάρχει η παραμικρή άνεση, είναι μοναδική γιατί ξεκινάει 2 ώρες πριν την δύση του ηλίου και φτάνει 1,5 ώρα μετά την ανατολή. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι θα δείτε δεκάδες διαφορετικά ζώα και αμέτρητα στον αριθμό να πλησιάζουν την λίμνη για να πιουν νερό. Κυριολεκτικά: ΑΞΕΧΑΣΤΕΣ ΕΙΚΟΝΕΣ!!

0203You should definatly go on the Sun downer, where u can relax and learn a bit more about the history of kariba, as well as take wonderfull photos and watch the local wildlife on the shore of the lake.
You should also be careful at all times as wild animals roam free around Kariba.
