Surrounded by three World Heritage listed National Parks, Tyalgum is less than an hours drive south-west of the Gold Coast (62km from Gold Coast Airport). For complete peace and relaxation for up to 5 people (no children or pets please), The Cottage @ Tyalgum is located on a 350 acre cattle breeding property only 8½ kilometres from Tyalgum village, surrounded by stunning mountain views and rolling green countryside. ![]()
Privately positioned well away from neighbours, The Cottage @ Tyalgum is newly refurbished and totally self contained. * 2 bedrooms with Queen Size Beds. * 1 bedroom with one King-Single Bed. * 1 Bathroom with Bath and Shower over. All the bedrooms enjoy an outlook over the pastures to the mountains. The modern kitchen facilities include fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and cooktop. For outside dining there's a gas barbecue on the covered verandah. The lounge area enjoys a USB compatible 42” flat screen TV with blue-ray/dvd player. ![]() Both the lounge and main bedroom have split system reverse cycle air conditioners to ensure a comfortable year 'round temperature for guests. Murwillumbah (30km) is an easy drive on quality bitumen roads for casual dining and shopping in a country atmosphere. The Tourist Information Office in Murwillumbah has a host of information and brochures on the many things to see and do in the beautiful Tweed Caldera including Golf, Horse Riding, Rainforest Walks, Beaches ~ or take one of the numerous scenic short drives to be enjoyed through Chillingham, Uki and the Tweed coast.
