My first experiance of Lijiang was Getting off a train station and not knowing where i was on the outskirts of Lijiang, i called Mama Naxi because i had been told to go to this Hostel and guest house by loads of people that i had met along the way. i rang Mama and asked her to how i would get to the hostel and she replied asking me where i had come from, Followed by I'll be there in 10 minutes and hung up. it was lots of little helpful things like this The Fantastic family feel of Mama's that will get my going back every time i am near!

Mama's is the absolutely best place to stay in Lijiang! the women is a joy to be around and slightly mad! Her pets roams the place and the staff are friendly, and the group meals are a delight!! Mama does random things for the guests like banana juice, random taste tests and when you leave for somewhere she provides bananas and a lucky charm!!
