Hotel De Haan opened in the summer of 2001 under the ownership of Tom and Yorleny. Thanks to the fact that Tom is Dutch and Yorleny is Costa Rican, the hotel provides a typical Costa Rican atmosphere with a touch of Dutch hospitality.

The hotel is located in the center of Jaco and only 50 meters from the beach. Jaco is the perfect place to begin and end your vacation in Costa Rica, just one and a half hours from the airport. Hotel De Haan is located just 50 meters from the beach right in the center of Jaco. So don't walk to much! If Coming on the San Jose-Jaco Bus. Ask the driver to let you off at corner of Bohio. The bus goes down the main street, and will let you off 50 meters from the Hostel. Cross the street, and walk toward the beach, and we will be on the right. Look for the micro-bus with surfboards on the office roof!
