PLEASE NOTE: The rates given on this site DO NOT INCLUDE BREAKFAST. An all-you-can-eat continental buffet brekkie costs EUR 3.70. You don´t need to 'reserve' breakfast, just come round to the reception in the morning if you are hungry.

Wombats is not dirt cheap
You may find an even cheaper place to crash in town, but none where you get more value for your money.

Walk from Alexanderplatz
Take the Fernsehturm exit and turn right, cross over Karl-Liebknecht-StraÃe via the pedestrian tunnel. Walk down MünzstraÃe and turn into Alte Schönhauser StraÃe (4th street on the right). Wombats CITY HOSTEL Berlin is located at Alte Schönhauser StraÃe number 2.
From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)
Take the S-Bahn line, marked by a white "S" in a green circle. Get on the eastbound train to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz change to the U2 line direction Pankow (or walk). Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit "TorstraÃe" and follow TorstraÃe to the left. After a few steps you stand in front of Wombats CITY HOSTEL Berlin.
From Tegel Airport
Take the Express bus "TXL" to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz change to the U2 line direction Pankow (or walk). Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit "TorstraÃe" and follow TorstraÃe to the left. After a few steps you stand in front of Wombats CITY HOSTEL Berlin.
From Schönefeld Airport
Take the free shuttle bus to Schönefeld S-Bahn station. Board any westbound train to Alexanderplatz. At Alexanderplatz change to the U2 line direction Pankow (or walk). Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz (first stop). Leave the station through the exit "TorstraÃe" and follow TorstraÃe to the left. After a few steps you stand in front of Wombats CITY HOSTEL Berlin.
From Ostbahnhof

Walk one block down Kaiserdamm to the subway staion "Kaiserdamm". Take the U2 Line direction Pankow. Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Leave the station through the exit "TorstraÃe" and walk TorstraÃe to the left. After a few steps you stand in front of Wombats CITY HOSTEL Berlin.

One of the best hostels I stayed at in Europe, even nicer than their ones in Vienna Munich. Friendly helpful staff. Almost felt like home by the time I left! Wombar a great place to hang out at night, with great views of the city.
Close to fantastic restaurants (highly recommend the kebab shop next door for a cheap meal the Thai across the road!) and cheap bars within walking distance - actually too many to choose from!
