The MEININGER Cologne is situated right in the campus area, a vibrant urban place with many shops, showcasing indie music, indie fashion, and a vintage shop with films from the glory days of cinema. During Carnival, the so-called fifth season of the year, it is recommended to book weeks ahead of time.

DIRECTIONS - The fastest way to find us

Closest station: Zülpicher Straße

From Main Station (short distance ticket, 1,60 Euros)
- Take the U16 or U18 to Neumarkt (4 minutes) and change into the tram line 9 (toward Sülz)
- Get off at Zülpicher Platz (4 minutes) and walk in the direction of traffic into the students' nightlife street Zülpicher Straße
- After 100 meters (after the nice church) you turn right into the Engelbertstraße
- After 300 meters you can see our MEININGER on the left hand side

From Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN) (Ticket 1b, 2,40 Euros)
- Take the S-bahn line S13 to Köln-Hansaring (18 minutes)
- Change into the U15 (toward Köln-Ubierring) or U12 (toward Zollstock)
- Get off at Zülpicher Platz (6 minutes) and turn right into the students' nightlife street Zülpicher Straße.
- After 100 meters (after the nice church) you turn right into the Engelbertstraße
- After 300 meters you can see our MEININGER on the left hand side
