The Oasis Guest House is situated on the beach and consists of a number of little, individual bungalows.  There is also a restaurant and bar here that attract a number of people who are not staying at the guesthouse and on weekends there are live performances.  It is definitely advisable to book in advance.

This is certainly the pick of the budget options in Cape Coast.  The rooms are fairly simple, the toilets are shared (and can be a little filthy) but the setting is wonderful, the food is good and you go to sleep each night to the sound of waves crashing on the beach.  Book in advance though.
