Paid for a Jr Suite as a Hilton Gold member and neither get upgraded to a suite on the upper floor nor given access to Executive Lounge. I'm beginning to wonder why I stay with this chain. The suite was on the 12th floor, not even half-way to 38th, the highest floor. What's worse is the long line at breakfast every morning. When asked why I was treated this way, staff explained it's the holiday and a lot of Japanese tourists checked in-and do they all hold Gold status or above? Afterall, this is an AMERICAN chain-take care of your loyal customers first. Next time, Ritz Carlton, damn it!

A great blend of East West. Staff are very accommodating. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Areas to run and exercise are nearby. Starbucks is nearby; two right turns from the front door.
