Oct 23, 2008 This mid-range hotel is located in the village of Wadi Musa, right on the Shaheed Roundabout. For the price, this hotel is one of the best deals in Wadi Musa. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with private WC and shower. There is hot water in the mornings. If you want hot water in the evenings, just ask at reception and they will switch it on for you. The hotel is very close to several small shops and restaurants, which makes it perfect for stocking up on inexpensive drinks and snacks for a full day exploring Petra. What we didn't like were the mint green walls, mint green carpets and mint green towels (Jordanians seem to have a thing about this color). Also, there were three or four roosters (cockerels) outside our window who began crowing at 01:30 each morning and didn't shut up until after the dawn call-to-prayer. Bring earplugs. We didn't have breakfast in this hotel. The breakfast room frankly looked dark and empty, even though the hotel was full. Instead, we breakfasted at Al-Wadi Restaurant across the street. For 5 JD, I had a veggie omelet, plenty of pita bread (combine them to create a breakfast burrito!) and a cup of tea. There was no internet in the hotel, but there is an Orange Internet Cafe directly across the street, open til the wee hours. Related Links
